This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The owners and staff were super amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They even arranged for us to have breakfast before our early flight. The room on the rooftop had a jaw-dropping view of the mountains and airstrip. The ensuite bathroom was clean and a welcome luxury after trekking. The staff were incredibly helpful and respectful. The hotel itself was way better than any other guesthouses in the area. They had hot water, free wifi, and electricity - a true jackpot! The restaurant served delicious coffee and burgers. The rooftop view was simply breathtaking. The Lama Lodge family took great care of me, providing warm rooms, hot water, and tasty food. They helped arrange my trekking plans and even showed me around the town, making my stay memorable. The location was only 5 minutes from the airport, a huge bonus. The salads on the menu were very good. The deluxe room had hot water and cozy blankets included. The luggage room was convenient for storing bags during the trek. The reception had tasty cakes. The host even helped with check-in for my flight. All in all, my stay at this amazing place was one of the best parts of my trip.

The suite at Lama Hotel was like a cozy oasis, with two separate rooms and a glorious Queen bed with three single beds. The glazed lookout balcony made it even better, offering stunning views of the Himalayas. As a vegetarian/vegan, I felt at home in this comfortable and spacious suite.
Personally, I found the free WiFi at Lama Hotel a bit spotty. But hey, that's just my opinion!

We chose to stay here due to its close proximity to the airport, which was very convenient for our family with two small kids. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with hot water in the bathroom and warm blankets in our deluxe room. The restaurant had a decent menu with tasty options, including delicious salads. The luggage room was a bonus, allowing us to store our bags during our trek.
The noise from the street and nearby shops was quite bothersome.

amazingly helpful staff, warm rooms, tasty food, and a great location near the airport. The owner even carried my husband's bag to the airport when he got injured. The highlight was the tour to the Worlds Highest Football Field and the school. Definitely made our stay in Lukla memorable.
Street noise was relentless.

The lodge, located near the airport, offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are named after Everest summiters, with each having a unique charm. The dining room is adorned with photos of Sir Edmund Hillary, one of the lodge owner's close friends. The food is delicious and the service is attentive, making for a pleasant stay. Additionally, the lodge owner goes above and beyond to assist guests, offering tour information and even organizing transportation during flight delays.
The overall condition of the guest house could use some improvement.

The staff at Cafe De Himalaya were incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Lhakpa Lama, our tour guide, provided us with two days of fantastic tours and insightful stories about Nepalese culture and beliefs. We even got to taste authentic Tibetan tea courtesy of his mother. Highly recommend staying here!
Felt extremely safe, nothing was too much trouble.

The warm and friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We were treated to an entertaining magic show in the evenings, which had both kids and adults laughing and amazed. The cozy fire in the common area added a special touch to our evenings, where we gathered as a family and shared stories of our adventures. It truly felt like a magical place for the whole family!
My children wanted more outdoor activities for kids.

Had a warm bed & hot water, which was a relief after a long trek. The food was tasty and the dining area was cozy. They helped me arrange my trek to Namche and gave me a local tour. Made my stay in Lukla awesome!
Not many staff around, noisy rooms, dog fights, no locks, no water in sink.
